wired ftp=10m/s, wireless, 1.8m/s, wtf?

same box, same setup (xexmenu, flashfxp) and i can't get any faster than 1.8-1.9megs a second. it's taking over 1 hour to transfer a game!

i even tried setting flash fxp to active instead of passive (all i could find when searching). any other suggestions?

Wireless will never get you speeds anywhere close to wired.
Especially if the router is in another room.

Xexmenu doesn't get you very good speeds anyway, there are programs that are better. You could also use a plugin. It let's you transfer games, files whilst playing games or usingan application. Obviously the speed will be pretty slow whilst playing a game, but at least you can use your Xbox and transfer at the same time. Might make for a seemingly shorter waiting time.
