E71 E79 Corrupt Nand :(

Hey Guys I'm new around here I'm sorry if I do anything wrong.

I dumped my 9199 nand falcon to try and tweak a few things I dumped it three times and made an image using Nand Compare because it takes so long to dump through my ltp and it has always worked for me. Well now I flashed it back and everytime I get either E71 and E79 half way through the boot video (it will complete the video if I have a game in the drive but then will still go to the error code). These errors as it would seem from looking it up through google means I have a corrupt file system because it boots up but errors after that. I have three 9199 dumps and the fourth created from nand compare as well as the cpu key, rawkv, and rawconfig files. Could someone help me? I think I could revive it by injecting my files into a donor stock image but I can't find one of those either.

if you have your cpu key, you may be able to do so (injecting to donnor nand), if no CPU key, forget about it as there's no way in hell (yet) to get CPU key in any kernel past 7371.

No help there from my side, only have retail jaspers 9199 w/key.

I dont even need the cpu key of the donor nand im pretty sure I just need the system files

You need the dumped files to be decrypted. If they are encrypted, you WILL NEED THE CPU KEY for the DONOR SYSTEM.

am i the only one wondering why you would even bother dumping the NAND of an unexploitable console?

what were you going to change exactly?

and good luck finding a donor nand at 9199 with a CPU key

who in their right mind would lose a jtag console by updating it to 9199?

Well, I have an XENON system I know the CPU key and at the time updated to 8955 intentionally (at the time there were no rebooters) and I've been using it to make my updated dash files ever since.  I still get a few scraps from the "scene release" for bootloaders but that's it.  I never updated another console unless it was the owner's desire. 


Trust me, a lot of people don't care about JTAG or Homebrewn, just want the cheap games that piracy provides.
