So you did not put it out correctly from the old drive. Its fittin perfectly. I'm talking only about this  lite-on 74/83/93 has very very similar trays, just swap, simple like that!! And by the way, this is my pic, from the first Xbox Slim hacked here in Brazil |

Just trying to work everything out here guys - I have a slim with a 9504 on the latest dash. I want to spoof my old old Hitachi drive which has IExtreme 1.51 on it so I can play some old games (reason I got the slim is that my fat got RROD).
From what I can tell people are saying a spoofd drive will not work on the latest dash...but from what I can tell, the Hitachi drive may work. Can anyone confirm? Not spoofd a drive before so don't really want to spend hours on this if it isn't going to work at all!

Then go dump - and I am getting this error:-
Error 4: Fail to send request sense cmd! Sense FF/FF/FF
Drive already erased or FW not running
Task done
Can anyone give me some pointers? Cheers!

no lucky... DG-16D4S FW 9504 A0A0 MArch 2010 Xbox 2010 05 04 Read original 9504 and have: DVDkey.bin Identify.bin Inquiry.bin have Error on make dummy.. So, I put dvdkey with JL (to LT1.1934), apply ppf patch, flash drive 74850 with dosflash. First BAscup boot ok. Second bascup game (assasinc new) boot , apply system update and get failure (maybe bad bascup). Extract $SystemUpdate prom asassinc iso to USB flash and finish update from USB flash. DAsh 2.0.12416.0. Now with 934 liteon I have DVDplay...  Tried Hit 047 , sam28, Lit 74 934, spoof to 9504, manual insert dvd rom serial and have DVDplay Original DG-16D4S FW 9504 all ok. Have to wait LT+ ? |

No you don't need anything between DVD sata and your Pc sata, but probably you're not selecting the right sata port from JF or Tarablinda (which is the name of Geremia's application), the port is something like 0970 for example, there's many ways to get it, search for it a little. Also you should not post here asking for help dude, this is not a Help thread, there are many threads about it, pick up the right one so you can succeed in what u're trying to do..you can also PM for help, no problem..
