DG16D4S Drive (360 Slim Drive)

This can be done by taking the entire tray (opening your dvd drive) out of the dg16d4s and fiting it into the dg16d2s.
You can also grind the center tabs from the dg16d4s tray cover and try to silicone or glue it to the dg16d2s but if you plan on eventually putting the tray cover back onto the dg16d4s this is not recomended.
I havent put the tray cover on at all...gona wait for LT+.

Thanks for your reply. As now I don't want to open Slim's LiteOn, so my only chance is to insert the black front-tray on the old LiteOn tray.
It's quite fitting in, but it's not stable and the front tray plugs out easily.
I don't know how to do...

So you did not put it out correctly from the old drive. Its fittin perfectly.

And for you all guys - I put a Hitachi in my Jasper Console with 1.51 on it. The latest Dash on the J - everything is workin perfectly. Playin Assassins Creed now

I don't understand why you guys want the drive keys so bad though...

It's already been stated that you cannot spoof to a different drive on the new dash update, due to osig checks. You're drive will fail to work.

I have the old Dash and two old drives (hitachi and benq).
I only want to play the old games... so i will try to spoof one of the old drives.The only problem is that i have an 0255 and there is no tool to read out the drive key.

Even if you were able to etract the key it would be of no use to you. 0225 xboxs come with kinect dash preinstalled and spoofed drives wont work due to new checks.

Who the f*** told you that? That's utter BS i have 0225 and it sure as hell doesn't have kinect dash. But you're. Right. It is useless. All these people nodding for spoofed drives are wasting and destroying equipment for no reason what so ever. It makes me sick seeing all these people mutilating DVD drives.

yea sorry i thought 0225 where boxed with kinect dash...aparently not, my bad. thanks for the info loggio. if you dont have the skills required to open and mod stuff then stick to software.

Yes im with 12611 but Sammy MS28 working fine Need for Speed Hot Pursuit, Assassins Creed and Fable 3 with AP 2.5 i have tested these games in another Jasper with same Dash but With an LiteOn 83v1 and don't works, well tomorow maybe a haved sale my Xbox 360 S 250Gb and gonna buy another, because i don't want Flags to be Banned in the future, then now i go waiting for new Firmware to use with Live or less to play Need for Speed Hot Pursuit Again, well for now i gonna play my favorite games because tomorrow all is over LOL.

I'm certainly not bitching or bashing the makers Loggio - perhaps it didn't come through on my post, but I was amused  by the fact people were creaming themselves over non-information.

I am fully behind Geremia, and fully behind what Team Jungle & C4E do, and have shown that in various ways.

Again, it will be interesting to see if Geremia was completely unlucky with his locked 0225 SPI - we'll see.
