About spoofing, i don't care, but if you are going to make a stylish youtube video, at least remove the cellophane from the TV
That was nice!!!!

Great work Geremia, since I saw your post with the tool I got my hands on a Slim and everything worked like a charm. Thank you for supporting the scene! A true Legend! And... Geremia provided the tools for us, free, due to his own hard work, so everyone reading this thread should be able to spoof their drives but, as always, everyone wants everything "ready in a click". Nobody wants to wants to think, want everything the easy way I hate the "Windows Generation"!! People doesn't want even to try by their own. Look whos talking, the guy that gives every noob a step by step how to for everything 360 related here in brazil! :p Now on another topic, I just managed to get a benq drive to fit inside the 360, was kinda painfull, had to cut of the drive "feets", some of the metal case screws suports and had to tape the drive back lol! Gonna post some pics. But did you guys try to mess around with any other kind of adaptions, like the liteon boards on the slim drive or something like that? Anyway thank you again big G.

That's all good, but I didn't really understand if anyone truthfully succeeded into spoofing and old 360 drive as Slim's and booted backups on the Slim (old fw). It's only statements, backed up by "I won't tell you how I did it because, someone tossed me a bone, but I won't share it with anyone". This method is the most safest to explore, as there is no erasing of the original drive

You are wrong. I never wrote any "step by step" stuff related to hacking the 360 drive or related. I helped on other areas for sure. Now, back on the topic, I just got a drive with the new firmware, lets see how I can provide some more info to Geremia. Hmm i'm having problems JF doesn't accept dummy.bin... or en inqury.bin to small files -.- Doesnt evn work with FWtoolbox.. Do i have to edit my LT fw manually or what? Hmm some questions..
1. Has anyone here manage to acutally spoofing another drive and played games on their SLIM?
2.What drive and how did you do?
I did try to Hex-spoofing it as a sammy ms25 DG-14D4S 9504 but that still didn't work, didn't know if i needed to add the identity and serial data tough, the lines aren't the same in my Hex program as in the dump i'm using XVI32, maby i need something else?
just use JF, Open target firmware, select the correct hacked LT firmware for your drive (ex: liteon 74850C), then go Manual spoofing, load up dvdkey.bin dumped from tarablinda, flash drive. it will work on a slim. Drive doesnt fit. You need to take off the board and laser, install them on Slim drive and you have backups running on your slim, cheers

Geremia, this is for you!Tarablinda_v04b.exe output on the Philips & Lite-on DG-16D4S drive with 0225 firmware: thanks, that's what i needed seems the unlock command is still there, probably needs different parameters, or it just needs some prerequisites. sense 5 55 00 SYSTEM RESOURCE FAILURE, if the cmd was removed, i suppose the error would be different Fortunally, there are more than one way to unlock vendormode. BTW, vendormode: mtk changed vendormode commands for mt1335, there is not anymore the flash blank check lock, you can erase and write freely (well, you have to know what to write ), but you can't read at all (well, 75% true ). This means that there will be anyway a way to enter vendormode, as soon as they want to reflash drive. About the cmd to lock the SPI to read-only, the only way to unlock is to pull spi WP pin to vcc. I don't know where it's connected internally, i got that bonding wire disconnected during decapping, but seems it's going to GND. Sincerely i don't want to test that cmd on the mt1335 About spoofing, i don't care, but if you are going to make a stylish youtube video, at least remove the cellophane from the TV Geremia, im not quite sure what it is you're saying about fw 0225. Are you saying this can be easily done? Or that we cannot do it?

The 9504 doesnt exist in JF (ofc) and just loading the key doesnt seem to work either. Well i pasted the key last time, i'll try tp load the .bin file and see how it goes. So the only file i really need from the dump is DVDkey.bin then? I allready sawed my sammy down so it will fit in my slim, to bad the power cable is to damn short to fit, well, that's a solvable problem

All you people spoofing drives have missed one point, technically speaking, if you are using LT liteon for your replacement drive/board etc, your drive isn't spoofed at all.

Do you know what spoofed mean? Is that a rhetorical? Ask yourself the same question and get back to me.

Nope didn't work for me :/ 1: Dumped the key 2: Changed drive to sammy ms25 3: loaded ix-ltv1.0-sammy.bin 4: Manual spoofing 5: Loaded key.bin > Dvdkey.bin 6: Flashed No Go Don't i need to speef the drive to a 9504? I think the key is in the wrong place in the fw, it says Key @ 401A, it should be A0A0.... If i try to spoof it as a Liteon and write A0A0 istead of A0A1 in the barcode it changes back to A0A1 when i click Ok then manual spoofing it reverts.. Well, i'll try to copy the barcode from Inquiry.bin, open the fw and hex it to a DG-16D4S 9504 and see what happens.. and i'll also try to hex in the other bin files that i got and see what happens... Se3ems a bit harder to Spoof a Sammy as a Lite-on than a Lite-on to a 9504 :/

Is there 64bit support for windows 7?
I'm getting WinIo Error in port...
And I assume there is no problem that I type in E800 as port and it says "WinIo Error in port E807"
