Xell on Devkit

I want to find the Cpu Key for my devkit , but finding a 4929 or 5426 recovery disc is prohibitively difficult.

Could I simply flash Xell to the first 2mb of the nand using the SPI port, then flash back the original image? Or is this not possible due to some technical restriction?

When I saw the responses to my post I immediately checked the URL. I expected to see forums.xbox-scene.com or perhaps even ***.com, but to my surprise and horror I found that I was indeed on xboxhacker.org

q36, while I don't condone your spiteful demeanor and abusive language, I think that the flak you are getting for ragequitting is uncalled for. I know all too well how it feels to be angry and misunderstood. It is also hypocritical of him to call you out on your age is considering his username implies he is 16.

On the other hand however, the core of TheFallen93's message is still valid, although this hardly justifies his namecalling and personal attacks. I think the point he wastrying to make was somewhat obscured by his excessive use of expletives, but from what I could tell his response was simply a reasonable reaction to your own negative attitude.

In conclusion, I hope that we can find some common ground, and restore a sense of camaraderie to our community.

inspuration: afaik you still need files from one of the exploitable recoveries to even attempt anything like that (like the zeropair image uses cf/cg from 4532 retail.)

And yeah, it's kinda sad that if someone who doesn't understand anything at all doesn't come along and trash a thread then someone who's been here forever seems to
