Hi all,

hoping to get some answers here, haven't been able to find any on the site or with the lovely google.  Anyway, I finished the jtag on one of my older xbox's and started the nand read last night.  I got 4 errors with the first nanddump that i could see and opening the dump with the xbox 360 flash tool I couldn't see my CPU key or any of the other information that i was looking for after reading the tuts.  Unfortunately for me, my son thinks he's smarter than I am and decided to try and write Xell 1.0 and XBR to it last night.  What he tells me is that he did a nandpro lpt: -w16 xell-2f.bin first, then right after that he did a nandpro lpt: -w16 XBR_Xenon_8955_3.bin.  then when he tried to test the box on the tv we get a nice christmas tree effect on the xbox.  with not getting the cpu key and not getting more than one dump am I screwed here or is there a way to reverse what was done?  I tried reading the nand that's currently on the box after what he did but now i'm getting more errors reading from the nand.  Any assistance would be appreciated.

As long as your original dump correctly grabbed the keyvault and config block you should be okay.

You might want to review a good tutorial since I think you may be confused on a few steps.  You don't get the CPU key from the NAND, it's not in there.  You have to flash a bootloader like Xell or Xellous after wiring up the JTAG in order to view the CPU key.

Try reading this tut, they seem to like it over on X-S

ok, so i got to the point where i believe Xell is loaded up and the screen shows me a bunch of efuse information, but doesn't show cpu or dvd key.  however, DHCP picks up  an ip address of 192.168.58.106, but when i goto that page it is just a blank page.  at the bottom Xell network config shows 0.0.0.0 / 0.0.0.0 .  i would assume that if it picks up a DCHP address then the listen port should be hit up on that ip address correct?  am i missing something here?
