If this has been discussed I searched and was not able to find it. I dumped a xenon box 3 times ended up with two identical "good" dumps. I flashed Xellous was able to obtain my cpu key. I can load the "good" dump into 360 Flash Tool and read out the contents of nand with out issue but, when I attempt to extract the dump with I build I get errors. Now since I have flashed the box with xellous I created another dump but I'm not able to open it in 360 Flash Tool with my cpu key. So what I would like to do is take my old dump extract how ever much header data that xellous uses and inject that in the last dump I created so that maybe ibuild can extract this damned thing.

I used some common sense and broke out the hex editor. I copied everything from my good dump starting at 149FA and pasted it in my newest dump. It now allows me to open and view in 360 Flash Tool. It shows me all the files. But I'm still having a beast of a time with ibuild extracting the dump.

I got a clean nand and I repaired my dump into that clean image. I was finally able to extract the dump with ibuild.exe. I however was not able to build the new xbr nand image. Win 7 it crashes in xp it completes but nothing is ever created in the bin folder. I took the cheap approach and injected my kv and raw config into 8599_3 everything works great but how do I upgrade from this to 9199?

you don't. only freeboot runs 9199.
There's an app to build freeboot from an xbr image, look that up.. it should do the trick in your case.
