A customer's Xbox 360 Jasper 512MB Jtag only has first 2mb read and accidentally wiped out whole nand. I had to use an original donor nand and inject kv and first 2mb, and miraculously it booted and everything is fine, but now when i write Xell onto it, it doesn't boot at all, no rrod, just black screen!!! Jtag wiring triple check ok.

Any ideas guys?

Can you read XeLL back off the nand? Does it match exactly what you wrote?

Thanks for the reply, the first 2mb was from original nand not from the one with Xell.

You said that you wrote XeLL to it, but it would not boot.  I was wondering if you had some write problems and XeLL wasn't written correctly.  Some LPT setups have read/wite errors.  Though, if you wrote a whole nand image back without problems, your setup should be fine.

Bad jtag wiring usually produces an E79.

You're not connected via HDMI are you? XeLL won't output to HDMI.

Used the Maximus nand reader usb to read and write nand, so convenient and fast.  I did try to write Xell but it never booted if i write Xell, i had to write back the original nand to make it boot up again. Checked the jtag wiring all fine. I've done jtag like more than 50 times, so this one really baffled me, I did check the original nand it's CB 6723 so it's jtaggable for sure. Don't know what else to try.

Is there any other way to get CPU key other than Xell?

I've had mine boot to black once aswell when trying to load XeLL, my ROL connection isn't clean (didn't use flux), and the factory solderjob there is real messy on mine (don't know about others).
This might be the cause, since my other connection are as clean as they can get.
