Hi,

while flashing my 46dh I get the following error message from flashsec

DeviceIOControl() failed 0
failed to stop the disc (sense: 02/04/01)

after each Flashing sector..

What does this imply?

Thx

EDIT: replaced memdump with flashec

memdump doesn't produce that error. flashsec does.

Your drive probably isn't in modeB. Search the forums for "modeB".

Thx for your answer.

Isn't the drive in modeb though when dumping the firmware works? I checked the key of the dump created now with another one I created some time ago and it seems to be identical.:

No, memdump works in modeA or B

Sometimes it will fail if you have a DISC IN THE DRIVE, remove the DISC first.
