I always remove R6T3... No messing around with alternatives. As stated by anonymous_hacker the only way to be sure the fuses are not blown anymore is by affectively removing R6T3. <= Philosophical opinion (I know someone will disagree :p)

But as we all know, if you update from let's say a 6xxx dashboard with R6T3 removed, to 7373 you'll get an e80 error. Is now still possible to read the nand by lpt and use it for the freeboot installation? Or does it need to be a nand that has booted at least once? I would test it but I'm at work for the moment and I'm sure that I'm not the only one with this question?

I just don't like the idea of blowing a fuse from a perfectly exploitable box, just to install dasb 9199... If this is not possible I'll just stay at xbr

yes u can use that dump with E80 and it will work . no need to boot

No need to upgrade in the first place. Using the 6xxx nand dump will work fine for freeboot creation.
