i don't have a backup of a particular game, except in GOD format. i used god2iso, but it is obviously missing the video partitions and some other stuff since it is stripped when converted from iso2god.

now my question is, is there any way to rebuild it so i can burn it and play it without having to execute it from xexmenu?

i have tried to inject the video partition back in and got ahold of the ss.bin file for this game, but every program i use (abgx, xbox backup creator, xdvd mulleter) gives errors when opening and when trying to inject the video partition back.

thanks

There is no way to recreate a proper iso.

so then what is the point of god2iso?

if i took a proper iso, extracted it, replaced the game files with the ones in the GOD container, then rebuilt it, would it work? obviously not for live

The program cannot recreate random padding like what's found in a regular game partition.

What you need to do is patch the xex so the game can be run from a single layer disc.

why is 'random' padding so important ?
and can we not create 'random' padding as it is random ??

surly theres away of puting the ISO on disc and getting it to boot ! ?

But you can get it to boot without random padding, it's called 'go buy an exploitable console.'

random padding can never be re-made for a iso...it's been like that since the start..M$ will always have us on this and they know it
just because it's say's random padding doesn't mean you can duplicate it as it fills in the gaps in a special way only M$ know about and always will be like this...M$ is the only one that can redo this
this is why most gave up on this...
hell if it was that easy, there be tons of copy issue's fixed
1 to 1 copy's and no need for hacking the DVD drive...
you can ask once a year for 10 years and the answer will never change...

i dont confess to know everything thats why im here to learn,
plus its when these types of questions get asked is how things get pushed forwards...

but i never realised that this is something that was checked ?
also dont understand how/when it can check it all, admitadly it can check chunks but would take some time to check all of them!?
and what does it compare it against ?
