I have and xD slot in my 256 Jasper that I installed. The older version of Freeboot loads fine, the new one doesn't. All XBR revisions work fine. I believe there is some bug related to the freeboot code left over from the "!SWITCH" I have done 3 xD mods and 2 of the 3 needed to have the "!SWITCH" removed from the freeboot.bin, obviously this doesn't have another NAND it should need to switch to.

I just flashed another xD card with 9199 purely and swapped cards after booting up the system and it loads the 9199 image...

Apparently there is something being searched for that it is still trying to switch NAND's.

I am using XBR SMC, any others give me E71.

EDIT:

Cygnos SMC gives me E79. Only other error.

I was under the impression that !SWITCH did nothing at all unless you had a cygnos. Also, the new version of freeBOOT doesn't require dual NANDs, so why are you switching after you boot up?
