I'm interested in doing some work with the 6717 NAND filesystem, however I do not have a copy. So I had decided to build one because I couldn't get a donor NAND.

I used xorloser's xextool to try and apply the system update to the individual files in an 1888 filesystem, however the tool is notifying me that these files will not work with these patches. So my question is, what is the minimum filesytem I need to apply the 6717 patches? I was under the impression that a box could jump from 1888 to 6717, but applying the patches is not working.

Is it possible that this is a bug in xextool? If so, what should I do?

Setup your xbox so that it boot 1888.

Add r6t3 or equivalent.

Get the 6717 update, update the box like normal.

Even better would be to update through all the dashboards, this way you will have a file system of every version.

Don't go higher than 7371 obviously.
