I have never modded a console game but have done some modding on pc games and when i saw the xbox 360 update microsoft released on Tuesday allowing you to use a USB flash drive as a storage device i decided that i wanted to try modding a bit since i dont need to buy xsata or any new hardware.
I have successfully gotten a flash drive formatted on the xbox and put a halo 3 game type on it. Then i plugged it into the computer and am trying to figure someway to open it up with xplorer 360.
If i select the open hardrive or memcard option it says that there is no FATX drive inserted so i try open image and find that there are and then go trough the flash drive and try to open each file but can not get anything working.

I am a noob so please go slow if you are going to try to help me.

Is anyone else attempting what i am.

The files are hidden on the drive and are nothing more than a series of containers named Data and numbered for how many they're broken up into. There will have to be a different method made to read the usb drives.

Tried didn't work. There is a program out that has USB drive support, that seems to work quite well now.
