This looks, sadly, to be a dead thread. Anyone else here handy with a soldering iron who would be willing to whip up some flashers?

Grim187 (US) and some (RU) and (DE) dudes are selling etched flashers on ebay too. Search for 'USB SPI flasher' or 'xbox usb flasher' or something.

I'm selling Flashers too, at the moment I have only 1 left, but in the next days I'll make some new ones. Here are some Pictures: I'm from Germany, the price is 25€ incl. shipping costs to other EU countries. Pay ONLY per bank transfer. I'll test every Flasher before shipping with my Falcon, so you get a 100% working device. You only need your own USB Cable, the wires you have to solder are included and I'll isolate the bottom of the Flasher to prevent shortys. regards, hynix EDIT: Price Update!!!

Thanks for the replies all! Understood this can be done for (much) cheaper by rolling my own, but Digikey terrifies me. How many options for caps and crystals does a person need? So... If someone were to be generous and offer a shopping list with item numbers, then I might be more willing to give it a try. I feel silly enough already, so I don't ask.. I knowingly pay for my ignorance and impatience with cash I appreciate that others are much more able at this hobby than I and will gladly pay for their abilities.

You might want to read the topic, where i've seen several lists coming by from several different shops/countries.

Hi, i've made a spi flasher too, but in a different concept. my aim was to made a spi flasher that can be integrated in left side of the xbox, so the user can flash his nand without re-open and re-solder wires on the mobo. 100% SMD, a red PCB, 2 DEL (one "ON" that confirm the flasher is well plugged in USB and one "DATA" that confirm the data transfert), fully reprogrammable and i made it "from A to Z" i tried to make a flasher in the best quality as possible, like an industry could made. Many thanks to all those without whom I could do this the cuting of the xbox plastic side is not cut very well, it's my "testing" board but you can made something like that: more picture and tutorial here if you want (sorry, it's in french) : http://www.logic-sunrise.com/news-83632-exclusivite-ls-v11-du-module-usb-nbz-disponible.htmlcheers,

Hello, i think all spi flasher based on the diagram found on xbhbbs have almost the same preformances about 25min i think, but i never count exactly for the first 66mo of a jasper 256/512 about 6min for a 16mo. only flasher like the olimex lpc2148 have mutch better performances. when i meant " different concept", i was talking about the integration of the flasher in the left of the xbox. i also had the LED data cheers

Hey guys, I apologize for being absent recently, but Ive been working on a new set of flashers. I know Ive gotten a few PMs over the last little while about it, so if anyone is interested, the thread is here. If youre lucky enough to be one of the first five to grab one, you get a whole $10 off!
