Dashboard version on an April/May 2009 console?

I'll be buying a 2009-04-28 pro 60GB from a seller from Amazon.com, is labeled as NEW, I want to know when did the consoles started getting shipped with the NXE dashboard, is an April console likely to come with the blade  dash or the NXE? I know some people from ebay and at gamestop stores are selling "New" xbox 360s with manufacture date before jun 2009 so they look jtagable but they are really refurbished consoles with a 7xxx dash, gamestop is full of them. for me the only safe way of knowing if these consoles are jtagable is if they have the blade dash, so if an april 28th console is likely to have a blade dash, i'll buy it, if not , the only way is to read the CB but that would break the warranty, and I'll be screwed. I don't trust ebay and it's sellers but don't if I should trust amazon.com sellers.

if someone wants to screw me over and wants to sell me a reburf as a new console, is there any other way for me to know is a reburb without breaking the warranty seal?

 The new dash doesn't have anything to do with it , it is the CB version ,well to clarify the dash does matter but if the CB version is low enough so is your Dash version. Most of the systems getting Jtagged didn't have the blade Dash still on them. An April 09 system would probably come shipped with the new dash it was released at the end of 08' right before the holiday season.

If it has a manufacturing date before 2009-06-18 and a dashboard of 7371 or lower and has not been sent in for repair then chances are really good it will be exploitable. Only way to truly know for sure is to dump the nand and check the CB version.

yeah I know what you guys are saying, on the outside this console looks great a jtagable Jasper, I want to find a way to know if it is a legit New console or a refurb sold as new, I have seen a lot of refurbished 60GB pro around that are sold as new but then they are a reburb with the updated CB, so I want to find a way of figuring out that is not a rebfurb unit sold as new with out breaking the seal, that is why I was trying to find out when did MS started shipping the consoles with the NXE, I read in another forum that a person on the UK bought a console manufatured on April 09 and still had the blade dash, but that was on the UK. is there another way of figuring out if a console is brand new or refurbished?

man I think I know, but correct me if I am wrong.

the refurbished consoles with updated CB would include the 2.0.7371.0 right? that means that if this console is legit and was made on 2009-04-28 the latest dash version it can have is 2.0.7363.0, because the 2.0.7371.0 update got out 2009-04-02, there is no way this console can have 2.0.7371.0 because ususally ms takes a lot of time to put the new dashboards on production, it may even include the 2.0.7357.0 which came out on 2008-11-19 which was the first NXE. would that make sense, have anyone of you seen a reburbished console with a dash lower than 2.0.7371.0 with the new CB?
