problem with liteon 83850

hi, i have a liteon 83850 and before yesterday there was the ixtremeLT on it...with the recent dashboard update i've decided to put in the original firmware and then restore it back to the LT. So i've flashed the DUMMY file that i've extracted the first time with dosflash but now the drive doesn't work and i can't flash it anymore, also after "LITEON E" command in dosflash, it can't recognise the chip tipe! the intro doesn't work, it's very strange because it's not "invisible" in the port list! Any idea? i've bricked it?

If you flashed the dummy to it directly, you flashed it with garbage data.

i've solved with JF. i've founded the port of the liteon, pressed liteon-erase and power cycled the 83850 not in "intro" part but during the erase. By this way it recognised the chip tipe... uhh.gif
now it's all ok! thanks!
