Hi i would just like to know if there is any (new/newer) way of modding my original xbox. It has been a goal of mine to accomplish this but i don't really want to invest any money into it such as buying a pricey action replay. thanks for your help and please any help would be great.

yeah that kinda goes without saying man. You google Softmod and see how far you get....what i am looking for is for a apecific up to date guide. i do not wish to wade through the years of trial and error of other peoples attempts.

"up to date" ended 5 years ago for the xbox 1.
And googling for "xbox softmod" threw out plenty of hits, with the first three being tutorials on 3 different methods that can be used.
so what exactly was your problem there?

1. get a copy of splintercell, 007AUF, mechasault....i think thats the right game
2.. find a compatible usb drive as MC
3. make a XB2USB adapter
4. update to latest dashboard
5. get action replay save manager and install pendrive as MCdevice
6. get required software & learn how to use it
thats all im goin into detail, got better things to do. thats prob. the most help ur gonna get on this site. like the rest of us, dedicate some time to learning this $#!t
