Hi,
I would like to install an extra 120mm fan on the top-side of my 360 case.
Tech specs from the fan: DC 12 V / 0.19 A

Can I get the power from this fan-connector?

Or are the power requirements from the stock-fan (delta) + this 120mm fan to high and burn a transistor?

At 25 posts you are also still green behind the ears my friend.....

But you are correct, the fans are controlled by a Mosfet on the underside of the board, and they sometimes get damaged if handeled badly.

As Devil_boi (boi?!?) meantioned search for a picture thats floating around here somewhere with the different locations for 12v/GND to be safe, The search is your friend...

I considered doing the same thing, but decided to draw power from the DVD drive cable instead.

Not as good as the points Hype used, would search for some other pictures with alternate points on the topside if you dont want to get the 360 MB out(cant blame you)
