Occasional E79, Xellous and XBR3 working, most likely short? (Zephyr)

I think my comment was quite valid . I didn't ask them to test it on 50 xboxes . Just maybe release a note that there software may not work across all versions of said motherboards .(Since they have to know it by now)
And personally i would rather they have not released it . It would have saved about 8000 ppl the same headache as this thread is about.

No. You complained about that they released it if it doesn't work "worth a damn". On a side note, using the cygnos v2 and their jtag setup with XBR works fine for zephyr. It's in fact very possible that it's an issue with MS' SMC code, not XBR at all.

And why release a note? The info is on this forum. In fact, mentioned several times. This is not "gentle hacks for the restful beginner".

Just got a couple of these zephyrs dropped off last night and ran into the same problem with each .
Never did a zephyr but have a bunch of the other consoles that all worked fine . Literally no errors ever.
Basic trouble shooting would leave most to assume that xbr (for this board) is bad.

So either xbr for the zephyr don't work . Don't work on all the zephyrs or just don't work for everyone .
From the searches i have done . It shouldn't have been released at all .
But hey . Like i said i can wait. At worst i can always sell it and buy 2 more xenons lol

You should at least know that any hack or free software coming from this forums have no warranty from being free, indeed have a nice support, and you can give some feedback to improve things, and in exchange, you give $#!t.

Do you have a link to this info? So you are saying that Zephyr boards using cygnos v2 DO NOT suffer from random E79..ect..ect? And this is with XBR flashed to cygnos? If this is true, then it sounds to be hardware related.

The "link" to the info is me, I have a zephyr with cygnos and it hasn't given me E79 yet (although I don't use the console regulary). It ran a normal XBR flash before and gave me E79 every 7 or 8 boots then.

Sounds like the XBR Zephyr is interfering with the quality your customers expect from you.  How dare they release buggy software when you're trying to run a business!  Perhaps you should demand a refund like your customers would?
