Hi all,

the xenon will drive me insane.
OK i have xenon with 1888 the oldest one never been updated
1-i connect the lpt cable start nand and dump the flash for the first time (FlashConfig:01198010)used (nandpro lpt: -r16 nand1.bin)and the second time nand2 and third nand3.


2-dump 1 and 3 where identical checked with nandcompare and totalcommander.
3-360_Flash_Tool opend it and read cb1888 and Degraded read the dump with no errors
4-extracted the kv and config with(nandpro nand1.bin: -r16 rawkv.bin 1 1)(nandpro xbr.bin: -r16 rawconfig.bin 3de 2)where nand1 is my dump
5-i didnt need my cpu key so moved on to install xbreboot (i used XBR_Xenon_8955_3)
6-inject rawkv and rawconfig to xbr.bin by(nandpro xbr.bin: -w16 rawkv.bin 1 1)(nandpro nand1.bin: -w16 rawconfig.bin 3de 2)
7-no head to install xbr on nand using(nandpro lpt: -w16 xbr.bin)
8-finished unplug lpt- power waited for 30 second
9-duhh the xbox360 wont turn on nothing dead as rock and psu is orange no red light error???
10-reflashed with  used XBR_Xenon_8955_1 and same
11-erased flash with (nandpro lpt: e16) and reflashed xbr no result same silent rock
12-so got back to my old dump(nand1.bin) and reflashed to xbox360 and it works fine???
And 1 more thing i did use i4148 for lpt line 11 the didnt forget the pic dont show it.

why i cant install xbr??? help please

is that a typo
nandpro nand1.bin: -w16 rawconfig.bin 3de 2

casue it should be like
nandpro xbr.bin: -w16 rawconfig.bin 3de 2

but you can do it that way
when it's working , old orig dash

nandpro lpt: -r16 kv.bin 1 1
nandpro lpt: -r16 config.bin 3de 2

nandpro lpt: -w16 xbr.bin
nandpro lpt: -w16 kv 1 1
nandpro lpt: -w16 config.bin 3de 2

but anyways it's weard why it won't turn on.
may update it to newer dash, but not to new and try then.

Sorry my bad with the (nandpro nand1.bin: -w16 rawconfig.bin 3de 2) i edit the right one
(nandpro xbr.bin: -w16 rawconfig.bin 3de 2).

the rawkv or kv dont matter i think just name u know.

the name wasn't my point
you put the kv and config in xbr and then flashed it to nand
i flash xbr to nand and then add kv and config to the nand

but i noticed if the erease your nand and try to start it's not responding.Like your Box.
so your box thinks there is no software on the nand.

Don't know if this info helps you.Maybe your XBR file is corrupted.

I downloaded xbr via xbins 2times and from eurasia and same?

As weird as it sounds I think it may be because your using a base kernal version, if I were you I'd sell that console, base kernal version consoles will make you a very tidy profit indeed, then I'd buy a 6xxx kernal Xbox, get myself a cygnos360 v2 and party all day with USB :p

flash xbr and if it dont boot flash it again over it.

Put in a game released before some time before 08.09 this should update CB.I think.

Look up the update collection thread and get a 7xxx kernel update. Just don't go any higher.

just flash the xbr image that uses either of those CB's... the CB had never been updated in the field until the fall update, there is no way to officially do what you want to do unless using a preformed jtag image

 My suggestion would be to install Xellous with a copy your KV and see if you can get that to boot. Then you can use Xellous to flash your XBR.bin and not only will it take less time it will take out any possible errors in the writeback of the NAND.

If you original nand boots then you know your image is good so just redump your KV and CONFIG to be safe, inject in the 1921 Xenon XBR (either would work but I think 1921 has an updated backup Xell image) and flash it from USB stick from Xellous. If it fails just flash Xellous back and keep trying, will be a lot faster than using LPT and I had a lot of success using Xellous to flash the few Xenon's I flashed with XBR.

the jtag wiers is to break nand protect what if they are not working well??
any one used the 330ohm method instade of IN4148 diodes.

After u install xbr u have to but the 2 diodes the (IN4148)and there is an old method for the xenon by useing 3*330ohm resistors
if the jtag wiers is not working the nand wont boot the hacked kernel it will read nothing.

My consoles do this if xbr is installed and but no jtag wires are connected.
The right bottom light is burning red, error 1033.
If the nand is empty the box won't start at all.
