I would like that too!

I have been contacted twice now to try and fix ps3's where all usb ports are dead and now you cant sync a controller. I have not found any useful info on what do for this issues.

it is not a cell processor, what i'm talking about is southbridge.
it control some parts of the boards.

the toshiba ssc is a chip which can add pheripheral functions via flexIO to a cell processor..... f.e. ethernet, ata, av (hd), usb, pcie.....etc.
it's like you said before...it controlls some parts of the boards.
