Jasper GPU Cores and RAM Height Difference
«

Just wondering what is the Height Difference is between the top of the GPU cores and the top of the RAM chips located under the GPU heatsinks as i want to add a shim so that the heat off of the ram chips is transferred directly into the GPU heatsink.

most use that same washer as the Xclamp kit....along with thermal paste ...or even fit a piece of and hand held eraser for them... as for the GPU well what ever the cc thickness is...

i have found that doing this can lead to RAM errors, the top chips do not like any pressure on them at all.

Yes, top chips do not like pressure at all. best way is do add a little fan near them (there is only one place that we can add a fan).
