Hi,
i've been reading all the posts and whatnot about flashing the drive etc. I just have one problem, my floppy doesnt seem to be working even after i replaced it and i have a question of how would i go about doing the flash with USB stick or CD-r.

When i tried to format the usb stick the "create DOS disk" was greyed out and i could not do it so i searched and found a program that will let me do it but i guess it requires to have a floppy to help with creating usb dos bootable. Are there any programs that will let you just format the usb stick straight forward???

also if i decide to flash with cd-r where will the original.bin be save?

all the tutorial out there talk about floppy flashing, and none have anything that owuld help me with usb or cd-r.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hey mikara,

There is a program floating around the net, that is made just for this task, search around a bit you might find it..

Also if your using a cd-r you will need a hard drive formated in fat. Then you can just save the backup to the hard drive.
