Having a little problem

A friend's 360 gives e71 after ejecting the tray during gameplay.
Same happens while playing a movie, pressing the Guide button and Y.
Happens even without hard disk attached...

Secondary error code 1013

Could this be a sign of bad solder in GPU???

This came from warranty like 2 months ago, warranty is now over.
Strangely, is a xenon board, the last board he had was an opus, but is realy strange that a xenon was sent instead of a opus...

BTW, it came with 7371, and seems to be pretty common (either Xenon or Opus), so there could be some tagable boxes around in MX.

Any help will be highly appreciated

.::Edit::.
Dumped nand and the CB is exploitable.

refurb is a box prone to failure again, and again , and again, until your warranty is over, you got played by MS... in fact I had a "refurb", that was tested 2 hours straight according to their letter, fail on me the second I turn it on

hows that for a repaired unit

That error means Failed to launch any executable which means you probably have something currupted in the file system.

Have dumped that nand several times, bad blocks properly remaped... corruption doesn't seem to be the problem...

RAM ??
