PIC18F2455, Pins 9 and 10? Input/Output?

From the data sheet i got:

OSC2/CLKO/RA6 OSC2 CLKO RA6	10	O O I/O	— — TTL	Oscillator crystal or clock output. Oscillator crystal output. Connects to crystal or resonator in Crystal Oscillator mode. In select modes, OSC2 pin outputs CLKO which has 1/4 the frequency of OSC1 and denotes the instruction cycle rate. General purpose I/O pin.

Having read that, the language is confusing me a little, when it says "OSC1(pin 9): Oscillator crystal input" does that mean i should line it up with the input side of the oscillator crystal? or should i line it up with the output side of the oscillator crystal so the electrical signals outputting from the oscillator are being "input"ted into pin 9?

i saw that, but i was asking about the orientation of the crystal oscillator? I don't want to reverse the 2(input and output) pins of the oscillator

there no + or - for it......silly...you'll be fine...same with the caps for it...
