I order all the parts and was setup to build sandungas' v0.3 usb/spi flasher, but then when i got the parts i realized i had ordered a 3 legged (12Mhz) resonater instead of a 2 legged (12 Mhz) crystall oscillator...i noticed in sandungas' v0.1 usb flasher he also used a 3 legged resonator, then in v0.2 it was (from the changelog) "Replaced resonator with a crystal oscillator & 2 capacitors"...now my question is if replace the crystal oscillator and 2 capacitors back with the resonator can i still use the rest of the schematic for v0.3? and i guess what question is really getting at is, if i use the resonator instead of the oscillator do i have to ALSO remove the 2 capacitors? cause before i noticed that he had used and then replaced the resonated with oscillator i was just going to try and use the resonator in place of the oscillator (w/ the 2 capacitors)

A crystal uses external capacitors, a resonator doesn't.

So you can look at the old version of Sandugas his schema for that part.

We replaced the resonator because some people were having problems with it, so if you have a problem and cant find it.....

The resonator worked fine for me (in the photos i did with the v.02) probably is because i did very short lines to the legs.
This lines from the pic to the resonator/crystal are very sensitive to interferences, try to make them as shorter as possible
Some people had problems with the resonator (but im not sure how they wired the thing)
