Was installing another fan to keep it cooler,I kept testing to make sure all steps taken that the fan was done right.
I put it back together and got 3 red rings 0020 error Huh

I xclamp mod with no help (5 times)
Heat Gun (no help)

No soldering with fan mod.

It did fire up with the extra fan attached before i installed the shell case.
Would the wires from jtag cause this?

It worked great before this, was just keeping it cool Roll Eyes

Anyone with any ideas?
I would most likely try anything to get it going Wink

JTAG wiring can be kept in place AT ALL TIMES and will not error if you have original dashboard..

TMS and TDI have on-board pullups, so if you don't drive it high (instead, drive high-Z), it should be fine without level shifter.

TRST however has a pulldown. Bridging it with J2D7 should work in theory, but failed on my xenon (got error 0020). A diode did the trick, but I can't explain why it didn't work without. Too high voltage?

unless he has the wiring on the bottom and something is touching.....
did you heat gun the top enough?
did you re-pull the board and try it..a warp can cause this to....
