I've dumped my nand 3 times now, using LPT method which takes time, this is my 1st Jasper, I've triple checked the wiring, diode is in place, Nand is detected and configured for big block reads...  NONE of the dumps match! Using "nandpro lpt: -r70 1.bin"

I have been folowing one of the tuts on xbox-scene and it said I should dump 70meg for big block nands (-r70), dumped 3 times and none of them match using the "fc 1.bin 2.bin /b" method in nandpro. I'm guessing the dumps won't open in nand compare because I dumped 70mb instead of the full 512 ?

I would like to try the xell linux method as it's much faster but I'm not sure if it's safe to flash xell without having 2 identical dumps, is there a way to check if it's safe to move on and flash xell for gentoo linux? Am I using the wrong nandpro commands (should I be using "nandpro lpt: -r512 1.bin") ?

Any help will be great, I want to nail this asap.

try this method, i think it's the best out there, it only requires the first 3mb to be dumped, after that you dump/flash your nand with XeLLous:
http://docs.google.com/View?id=dnfmv5h_186pp2zddm

Used this method, because for some reason I too was getting mismatching dumps (which was weird coz I never had any before (on small block and big block))

don't flash Xell without 2 identical dumps.. durr.. try extracting keyvault and config only, see if those match

btw you already have your own thread.. why not post in there..

what you could do is try and search for your answers
