Hello guys i am planing on doing a jtag hack for the 1st time and i have an idea on what to do so far i have a jtagable machine does any1 know a good place to get all the material wires and diodes and things or even a breakdown of all that i need that would be much appreciated. i have been researching this topic all morning and i plan on using freeboot since it seems its the better way to go it said that i must Install a CygnosV2 or v1 mod chip, i have searched many places to buy this but it was nowhere to be found. Or if its easier matbe some1 can show me a good tutorial out there. Thanks guys for reading.

Obviously your research ended after 10 mins. There's detailed info on what is needed all over the place, and freeboot is outdated and has not been updated since release.

You didn't mention what country you're in, so no one can really help you source parts.

XBR is the way to go these days, you don't even need a second NAND for it. (Cygnos not required)
