I have an original liteon drive that stopped readng discs eventually. I got a new laser and installed it. I removed the spot of solder in the laser.
I checked with a mutlti meter to see if i removed the spot correctly and there is no contact bewtween the 3 spots under the solder(static point)
Now when I put a disc in it just comes up with a 360 logo. Even if i put a dvd in it says this??

Any suggestions? I have tried calibrating pot to around 4.5

4.5 sounds alil high to be honest... if you're willing to tweak, somewhere around 3.9 is usually good for benq and liteons...
