This is year 2010 and where does a person find a computer with MS DOS on it, XP is obsolete and Vista doesn't have any DOS in it ?

The new WD drives are SATA, and how do you work with them in MS DOS MODE, I.E. Drivers ?
All the new Computers coming out these days are Windows 7 and most in 64 Bit mode (If you want more memory).

A boot-able USB drive on an old MS DOS machine?

Does MS DOS  support the modern chip sets etc. ?

I want to change my Grand Children's X BOX 360 drives from 60 Gb and 120 Gb to the newer 250 Gb versions.

Is there any way to do this on a Windows 7 64 bit computer and where does a person get the bin file listed on these pages? Huh

hi grandpa welcome to xh!!

dos can be ran from bootable USB on most modern machines that support USB booting

google HP USB format utility and install, look for win98 boot disc and extract to folder on desktop

insert USB pen, fire up HP format app and choose to format the USB and make it bootable then point it to the win98 dir you made b4

it will create a bootable pen for you.

drop all files needed for hddhackr onto it

boot computer and choose boot options or set the pc to boot to USB in bios

you will have dos!!

dos does not need drivers so forget about it, thought an old schooler like you would have known that.

the bin files for the drives are copyright and no1 will give you them or post any links but if you use google you will find them.

tuts for hddhackr are also on the forums
