Just got a 360 with an old dash and wanted to use Cygnos360 V2 to Jtag

Hey all!  I just got an old refurbished Zephyr with a 6xxx dash.  I wanted to Jtag it and noticed that the Cygnos360 V2 has the Jtag hack already built it.  I thought that would be a great place to start but I read some threads where people had a hard time getting Freeboot, Xbreboot ect. working with the Cygnos360 V2 (due to the Cygnos needing a different soldering technique).  I was wondering if anyone thinks that the Cygnos360 V2 would simplify the hack process?  I wanted to get one at the end of the week but thought I'd get some second opinions first.  Thanks a lot in advance...

The cygnos only simplifies the flashing part, the jtag part is already as easy as it gets. on the other hand, you can't just run custom firmwares on it (such as XBR) without patching them first.
