I just got a Jasper console with 7371 kernel made at 2009-06-24 , is there a chance the CB is OK to hack? I thought I ask before I start soldering and wait lots of time for the 512mb image to upload  Wink
Any info would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

yes there is a good chance you can hack it.

the last known 'good cb' console is from 2009-06-18 and the last know 'bad cb' console is from 2009-06-30.

So please try it out and tell us the cb value Smiley

You only need the first few kilobytes of the nand chip to check the cb value, dumps in a few seconds....

allright, then I will continue to read on how to do the hack...
I need to make the lpt connections first, and what nand2pro switched I use to read the few kb necessary? Is it easy to write them here for me?  Smiley

I'm interested to know how this turns out... I recently acquired a 6/24/09 arcade and I have been debating opening it up.

Could you tell me your other manufacturer info?  Team/lot #?
