Flashed XBR, profiles and hdd data inaccessible.

I have been searching for the last few days but I can't find anything about it.

I flashed XBR a few days ago, the flash went smooth and the 360 had no issues concerning XBR. However when I plugged in my 20GB harddrive, all my profiles, saves and downloads were gone. Well not actually gone because the 360 still said that only 4,4 GB was free on the HDD so the data was there but not accessible. Plugging the drive into my PC and using Xplorer and Xport to browse the drive confirmed this. I mirrored the harddrive and I could extract and inject the files back to the drive. I have tried formatting the drive in the 360 and putting the profiles back but they simply wont work. Have I overlooked something? Is it not possible to use your old profiles with your newly flashed 360 because it's a "new" console?

Was your xbox banned before? Maybe your profile is corrupted have you tried restoring it on another 360 and then moving itback with a MU?

None of my consoles are banned. Everything is accessible with the official dashboard. With XBR, nothing is accessible but it shows that the hard drive is attached and full. I created another profile on the XBR console which was then not recognised in the official dashboard.

Open up some of the files on your hard drive in a hex editor.

Go to 0x22C - If the 8 bytes there are anything other than "FF" then it won't show up on a console other than the one it was made on.

Go to 0x3FD - If the 20 bytes there are anything other than "00" then it won't show up if the files are on any device (Device i.e. hdd/mu etc) other than the one that it was made on, if you're just moving a  HDD between two boxes then this should be OK as the device still has the same device ID. But if you're moving the files to a different HDD then these 20 Bytes need to be "00".

You can safely manually hex edit in the "FF" and "00" at the right places if they are set to different values and the content should show on the 2nd console.

Having the exact same problem, i started a new thread as i couldn't find this one.
Also i dont see how hex editing will help, all my data is legit written by my other xbox, most of it from marketplace.
Im going to give it a shot however. I have no other ideas, Did anyone in this topic actually figure out the problem by the way?

Editing those hex values didn't do anything :\
