For some reason it's been proven that DLC only shows up in #1 Hits and not the original Lips.

Thanks for the answer . I just tried it and you are right. Number one hits is working great where the original wasn't working at all with dlc. Have you had any succes importing the songs from the first lips into number one hits? I have tried editing the musicdb and they show up, but will not play.

Looking at the MusicDB2.db3, i have noticed that song_prv.nft is the icon of the preview. (It's Unknown in the first post)

what do you mean by icon ? I don't have it in mind... Never saw the difference between the different songs icons.

Ok first i downloaded SQLite Export (the FREE version) from http://www.sqliteexpert.com/download.htmlI used this to open the MusicDb2.db3 file from Lips Number one hits i als opened the MusicDb2.db3 from Lips Party Classics and merged the two. So added everything from Party Classics to the Number One Hits database. (meaning the MusicData, PreviewData and StageData table). THEN i changed the DiscIndex field from the newly added songs from 13 to 10 (otherwise it won't work) 13 being the Party Classics DiscIndex and 10 being the one from Number one hits You do this by going to the SQL tab on the table and typing: UPDATE MusicData SET DiscIndex = 10 WHERE DiscIndex = 13; and press F5 to execute. Exit the program and replace your original MusicDb2.db3 Then you copy the proper files: the content of LS2\Levels\ the content of LS2\AlbumJackets\ Remove savegame data for lips and start it, you should be seeing the added tracks

It's a shame, I can't sing... and Jtaged the 360 just so I could merge the NOH and Party Classics. Couple of Questions: 1. Can you do the same for the first Lips game? If so where is the DB2 file... 2. Anyway to insert the changes into the NXE hard drive files instead of burning a disk. a. Or will this only work if the disk is modified and in the 360 drive.
Thanks everyone for this mod.

If you have a jtag, just run the game off of a usb drive
And, if you have the kv, then you could resign the nxe games package

If that gamerscore or tenth prestige is so important to you that you absolutely need a pointless number - get it legit If you are just trying to show off - throw a party(real party, not nerd party, some of you would miss that point) If you like to be a fagot and go by "Jtags are for Mw2" - GTFO

If you want the db3 for LIPS 1 I can provide it for you just PM me. It's quite some work to create the right entries for the game. Be sure to copy the content of lps\Levels (lips 1) to ls2\levels of your NOH lips. one thing: album jackets of Lips 1 don't work in Lips Number one hits! Besides that it's fine.
edit: the databse for lips 1 is in the lps folder...

@xfreaks: No, installing it to the usb of hdd makes no difference. You probably didn't correct the DiscIndex Field. Note that you need to use the DiscIndex value of the game your using as "host". edit: don't forget to remove the savegame (if you already played different lips games it saves the track list) for those of you who pmed me: I wasn't (and still am not) @ home this weekend in a few hours i will be

Now i'm trying the Lips Orginal DB. is it same way? @proditaki i have PM'ed you about how to merge Lips 1 to No.1 hits.

No, the LIPS 1 database is one table in stead of 3 for indexing the songs, so you have to sort the data in the right way for yourself. Because this takes quite some time i've offered to send it to people. I'm @work right now, i'll send it to all ppl who requested it as soon as i get home. As said, LIPS 1 game work fine, just not the Album jackets, as the format is different in the newer LIPS games. Previews and such work fine.

I decided to use the 80s game as my base and included almost all songs from the four games. Thanks proditaki for the DB. Here's a question for you proditaki: Do you mind sharing your pictures for lips AlbumArt. Here's a question for everyone else. I see the following directories: Uno Quatro Cinco Intl and DE are for Lips One. What happened to Dos and Tres. :p

Two things of note: Delete your save files when you go from version to the next because the previous disk will show as mentioned. I found it best, once merging all games together, to delete the other three games from NXE unless you are into all that achievement stuff. Total songs is around 160. Nice collection I would say compared to Karaoke Revolution.

if all you want to do is get all old lips songs in each game of lips, why not use lips i love the 80s and grab the other songs that were extracted as DLC? they are floating around on a certain forum. much easier and lips i love the 80s works with regular rock band mics.

I'm gettings some messages concering errors merging the Lips 1 table. That's because the song lenght is set to NULL, this needs to be, because the original LIPS 1 db doesn't contain the song lenght. Filling in 0 (zero) would fix the merging error, but would stop the songs from working in the game (0 seconds length So, best way is to copy the data by hand, it's only 40 songs. Or change it to 0, merge it and change it back to NULL. as you want I'm replying here because it's easier then replying to every message individually.
