hey people noob here only 2 flashes under my belt. My question is if i want to use my laptop to flash my drive using a esata to sata cable the cable shows up as a bus controller. I have been reading up on it a little bit and you can use usb to sata converter as long as you download the jungleusb.inf driver. but my question is will that work for my situation?
It would just be easier to use my laptop then try to find someone with a desktop with sata ports. any help helps, thanks

USB to Sata adapter works for jf (1.67)  just remember to load up USmodeb first then plug the adapter in ,which already had the drive plugged to it...
I didn't install no usb driver in that jf version. i am almost sure it comes with it..loaded up a 59,79 fine Smiley

This is the one i have been using HERE

and you do know in jf it's only for the Hitachi drives...

1394 is firewire, not esata?

you don't need a special driver for esata.
It uses the same driver you need for accessing your system disk (where windows is installed)
