Lite On 93450 soldered, switch etc. all soldered freezes Windows in JF and command screen/dosflash for a long time, comes alive and in the end returns status x80 on the drive in JF.

USB stick boot with LiteOn dosflash start with switch closed (ON), click switch open (OFF) type R for read. It gives me a FW boot (counts 4 banks reading). Dump opening on PC with JF gives a DVD key. But how I am 100% this is a right DVD key (I have no spare drive to flash it to ATM).

If Dos boot + Dosflash doesn't work, will it give no DVD key at all or could it dump a wrong key?

dump the firmware more then one time? i just make 2-3 dumps on 9xxx.. compare keys..

if JF opens the firmware it's reasonably safe to assume you have a valid dump.. in advanced view you can check the inquiry/drive serial in hex data

Yeah I've tried that and it gave the same results. But then again, I had that once in the past with a 7xxx drive in old Jungleflasher that didn't have the integrated freekey at that moment, thought I got a right key, same one every time I used it, but still wasn't a valid key.

Strange but true.

I managed to get a spare Lite On drive from a friend though to test on. And it worked, right fw, good key.

Thus for those that get a freezing Windows using the 9xxx drive in JF or dos window within windows with status x80 like me that won't get the right status, go use USB boot and dosflash, it worked for me!

Switch closed (ON), type dosflash, push R (read), switch open (OFF), push port (was 0 in my case) and it starts to read the banks/fw. Afterwards open in JF/Windows as target, like normal use.
