I have a frankenstien Xenon which has the xenon board but also has a 65nm cpu, whenever I flash Xbr to this system I get a black screen  I have checked my solder points and the jtag is perfect. Xell boots up just fine, but whenever xbr is loaded I get nothing. I am at my wits end, do I possibly need a special version of xbr?

uh.. where'd you get one with 65nm from? are you sure that's not an Opus?

Back to update this post, I have tried uploading a faclon/opus xbr image to the system and immediately get the red ring. the odd thing is the secondary code was 0031 but the "3" was aligned like the following.

Since this is not a valid error I am assuming it was giving 0021. I flashed back to the orig.bin and the system is posting. I believe the problem I am having is with the jtag. Since the system boots up to stock dashboard but does not boot into xbr with the jtag into place. One thing I find odd is that the system will boot into xell when installed on its own (not in xbr). I have tried rewiring the jtag wires with/without switching diodes. I have also tried wiring to the ring of light board but nogo. I have yet to try wiring the 330 ohm resistors yet but I did pick some up so day after christmas I can give that a try.

Questoin, is it possible that M$ created a special nand image for this configuration? If so I might be able to recompile xbr on my ps3 but dont want to waste the time if not needed. One thing to note, nandtool 0.91 sees the nand dump as xenon 1.0. Thanks for the help guys
