Ok so I want to put some emulators and the xex loader on my x360 HDD, the problem I have is that I can't connect my x360 HDD to my PC beacuse I don't have a SATA card on my old pc and don't own a migration kit. Is there another way I can get this files into my x360 HDD?

How about I do one better, and tell him how since I know?

You can use xexloader to copy files to the hard drive. Make a folder of what you want to move on a USB device and load up xexloader. When it loads, you browse to the USB drive and copy the selected folder. Then after that browse to the HDD and paste the same folder in whatever location you want.

See. That took ten seconds to type. Amazing, man!

congratulations you just spoonfed him, and helped boost the whole mentality that people can just post without searching, the info is out there, on this forum even... and when people cant be bothered to search, we end up with heaps of posts asking the same thing time and time again

Yeah, but you know what? He is still educated. Stop with this faux elitist attitude. The whole "search for it" mantra would work a bit better if these boards are organized and stickies were used, but they aren't.

And unlike most other people who asked pointless questions, his question was pretty understandable and not all that documented as say, asking how to do a Jtag hack. He got that far. Obviously he has some skill. I don't think I spoon fed him as much as I did guide him in the right direction. I don't even think I seen this question asked yet but in one thread, and that was by me even in a very indirect fashion.

Were this a question about how to jtag, or how to flash their drive or something else well versed, yeah. He should have searched.

I don't think I've ever used this, but I think I should use it more. Stevie, seriously, shut the f*** up. I contributed something that was moderately useful.

I totally agree with littlestevie and that is why I answered his question and told him to search.  He will gain way more knowledge doing it that way just like I did.  I must of read this website for 8 hours or so before I even attempted my box.  First attempt went smooth as silk.  Yes I have the XBR lockups like everyone else and because of all the knowledge I have learned the past 2 weeks I will probably go with a Cygnos to try Freeboot which doesn't seem to have those issues.  Well whatever each to his own.

Well the thing is, is that if you are always spoon feeding ppl then they never learn a damn thing. All they know how to do is post and ask questions.
I personally learned EVERYTHING i know from researching and using a little tool called google.
If all you do is tell someone how to do something without them doing the research themselves they never learn anything.
Just my two cents.

Sorry but I have to agree with Reznik Akime. If the question is short, sweet and to the point, answer it. The time and effort it takes to respond and label someone a lazy idiot could have been used to give them a little push in the right direction.

I also agree that the search function needs some improving

ohh Ok I see, I read some problems about overheating but apparently had nothing to do with XBR, This XBR slow downs and total lockups is like a fundamental problem with XBR or is something that could be fixed on a later version?

XBR wasn't made for piracy, it was made to test homebrew (probably never coming anyway)... any further questions? Tongue
