Hi,

Im going to install Slayers Evox 2.7 FINAL and have already killed an xbox trying to bridge the write enable points. (on to the nextbox).

Is it possible just before i hit ok to flash the bios, to bridge the points with a couple of small screwdrivers or something metal?.

my soldering iron is huge i have just ordered some small tips and a magnifyer with croc clips, having been banned off live 360 i want my hdd installation back im not touching that without proper tools/practice.

possible, but you would have to hold it there without even a millisection of contact loss until the flash is completely done.

Im going to risk it! (£15 a box) i can keep my write disabled which is a bonus.
If the flash failed due to me breaking contact, it would be bricked right. no bios no boot!
I still have my Unicron eeprom reader i made 2 years ago.

thanks for your confirmation. Smiley

cunductive ink is ther way Smiley so much quicker even if ya can solder !

if it does bugger up, you can still chip it normally so not totally screwed ...
if its the version with the holes NOT filled, then you can use a chip on a header and a small pieace of wire to short d0
thats how i been chipping/softmodding them for ages now !
