Hi there
I'm new in this forum . I've just bought a console Xbox360 Elite and would like to crack it down.
can any body help me please, with software and best practices

I'll give you a hint.  1st thing you want to do is figure out what dvd drive is in your xbox 360. So go to www.google.com and type in "xbox 360 dvd drive identification" without the quotes. And remember: Always search before asking any questions!!! |

I think he just wants to play back-ups. He doesn't sound like he cares about homebrew. Also I think the jtag hack may be to difficult/complicated for him.

Not to mention he just bought it. If it's a new console, then it's probably 8xxx. There are still exploitable consoles out there on the market. They are becoming scare but they do exist. If he really wants to crack the console, maybe a sledge hammer would be a good start. |

that's right I've just bought my console it's dated 08/2009 , My friend is good at cracking consoles but this one was unbreakable yet , that's why I asked around here.
I can break it my self or help break it but need some help to begin. I'm expert programer and Unix master so this wouldn't be kind difficult for me since understanding the basics
my goal is to play backups

that batman and lego elite bundle have 83 v2 drive so i think he means he cant crack(hack) it with jungleflasher i got my elite its also 2009-08-02 build in same month but with 83v1 drive and not bundle i got 100% assured it have flashable 83v1 by store ,one of last boxes with july 83v1 drives
