ermmmm, could be that many people don't read the readme and that causes most of the problems with XBR, but saying that everything works correctly for 10 mins but when playing a full game from hdd with xexloader the game will start lagging/freezing after 10 minutes (for virtually all the people that actually bothered trying to play something for more than 10 minutes) is related to not reading the readme and flashing incorrectly is a bit... far stretched imho...
no not always 10 minutes, in fact in both games i have tried (fable2 & halo3) its been around the 6hour mark before i get lag

Fair enough. Like I said it works fine for me.

I wonder why?

Just got FIFA10 to work from USB. Seems to me like a bug in Xextool 5.2: I had to decompress the fifadllzf.xex to binary before removing the media limits. Otherwise the file got corrupted (I couldnīt even open it in Xextool anymore) and the box just gave me E71 error after launching the game. Maybe some interesting info which might be relevant for other games too.

Had a similar problem with halo wars, i decompressed the image to binary first, then applied the patches, and works fine, no more E71.

if just type in xextool into cmd with no commands or filenames, and have it in the current directory it gives you a list of all possible commands, lots to play with

i believe the problem with XBR will lie within the fact that at freeboot Cx are at their designated areas on the second nand. in XBR they are not.

i will reconstruct the nand image according to the readme and see how it goes.

you believe? LOL, do some experiments before you believe. there is nothing to do with the areas in nand where Cx must reside, unless microsoft enforces that in the future firmwares.

You should try Trials HD, when it freezes move and center the analog sticks or keep pressing the analog triggers and action will continue.
You can even pull and reinsert the battery and it will continue.
I would guess that XBR is causing some trouble with cpu or thread stuff
Maybe not stopping the cpus correctly or causing some error in a patched function.
This seems to have nothing to do with flash layout/position

Is there any solution for the "copy bug"* yet?

* XeXLoader/Viper360 stops copying after a random time/size if u try to copy large files. I can't copy a game from usb drive to internal hdd. It doesnt copy all of the files an if i try to launch the game i get a black screen and the xbox freezes. If i play it from usb drive it runs fine.

Just installed Xexloader GOD v0.26.  Games list appears fine at xex home screen but no nice game preview pic. Anyone same prob?

FYI...I installed by replacing GOD CODE9999 over the top off the original non-GOD version. Where does 'XEX Media' folder go?

Also I notice known of my rips have a "nxeart" or "nxebg.dds" file that the release notes advise to delete " ..Some game previews could cause memory corruption...". Maybe these are my miussing game preview files?

Any help much appreciated.
