Do a "power cycle" after flashing Disconnecting the power cable is the only way to do a proper "reboot" of the 360 |

Lets say your original backup is made by an infectus or cygnos, then we have to use only upercase switches right?
nandpro orig.bin: -R16 kv.bin 1 1
nandpro orig.bin: -R16 config.bin 3de 2
nandpro XBR.bin: -W16 kv.bin 1 1
nandpro XBR.bin: -W16 config.bin 3de 2
Then flash XBR.bin with the Infectus Programmer or cygnos toolbox.

my original backup is made with the 5 resistor and 1 diode circuit  dumped 4 times....and only the last 2 seems to be correct... now i'm tryng to write the nand with the original backup and see if it works... if doesn't......this will be why doesn't run the xell  |

I was kinda asking about the uppercase switches since it isn't clear to me when to use the uppercase switches...
I use my infectus2 for all my boxes instead of the lpt cable.

Yes, I believe it is possible as long as the keyvault and config block are valid you can inject them. With my infectus it takes up like 4 minutes to write. What version is your dashboard, I can send you my backup so you can try to inject your kv.bin and config.bin. I have 7371, 6690 and a few others. |

Here the files for all models enjoy!!! XBR_Xenon_8955_1.rar: * HowTo:
1) Extract KV and Config blocks from orig.bin
nandpro orig.bin: -r16 rawkv.bin 1 1
nandpro orig.bin: -r16 rawconfig.bin 3de 2
2) Inject those blocks into XBR.bin
nandpro XBR.bin: -w16 rawkv.bin 1 1
nandpro XBR.bin: -w16 rawconfig.bin 3de 2
3) Flash result
nandpro lpt: -w16 XBR.bin
No success here on XENON 360 with dual diode JTAG (not the 3 resistor method). My NAND has just 3 write errors 202:namely at 2bd, 2c2 and 2c3 The result is RROD after a few seconds. It even does not start XELL on pressing Windows Button on remote to start the box. With the predessor (XBR_Xenon_8955_0) I got e79. On the other hand flashing xell into my original NAND Backup works. Gentoo Linux runs. Just on shutdown it hangs in an endless loop with an irq32 message. |

I'm using an infectus2 Using nandpro orig.bin: -r16 rawkv.bin 1 1 and nandpro XBR.bin: -w16 kv.bin 1 1 to read/inject my KV I got RROD or funny light three Using nandpro orig.bin: -R16 rawkv.bin 1 1 and nandpro XBR.bin: -W16 kv.bin 1 1 to read/inject my KV I got E71 (Xell is loading fine though..) However..my infectus won't write nothing with original diagram + JTAG wires connected..is that normal?? Every time I want update NAND I've to disconnect JTAG and use voltage fix...it's kinda boring...gonna search/ask on infectus forum later too... |
