It is a Fugitsu 60gb notebook drive.
Has anyone confirmed that XBReboot does in fact disable the HD auth?

I'm using a 80GB Fujitsu drive that came from a PS3 which had been updated with a bigger drive. And it works fine besides the fact that neither Xplorer360 or XPort360 can access the partition 3.

OK so what am I doing wrong?  If I am using a notebook HD do I still have to run seperate power?

I am running the latest XBReboot ona Xenon.

If you have the CPU key and a good image of your original nand then you can use 360_Flash_Tool to extract your kv.

hmm.. when I do that, the hdd actually shows up in xport, but partition 2 only has corrupted data and partition 3 shows, but can not be opened.

If you have the CPU key and a good image of your original nand then you can use 360_Flash_Tool to extract your kv.

my origin nand is damaged.just e71 error.
i use xbr_facon_1 ,inject kv and config,just e79 error.
i use xbr_facon_1,inject kv no config,just crismas light.
i guess maybe my config and kv is not normal. i flash my errored kv and config,so i can't boot normal.
now i inject donor's config and flashing ,wait a result.

Arakon, if you use XeXLoad you can copy things in and out of the harddisk to USB mass storage, which is not bad at all... For an temporary fix it works fine.

I know that, except it chokes on multiple subfolders, so I can't i.e. select to copy a folder with 20 arcade games or extracted games in one go, but have to go one by one.

use Xplorer360_250gb_Edition and it should show partition 3! i have a 1.5 tb hard drive and it works for me!

You can as long you watch for name collision within folders or filenames.

if you wanted to get 5v+ and 12v+ u could pull it from the motherboard!!!!

Any 12v+ u would recommend? Do I have to reformat the drive and make the partition?

I'd tried Tekken6 (works flawlessy) Mirrors edge (lag on video and freeze in game)
Sometimes console itself doesn't boot but shows E71...unplug and boot ok

If this is in place, the XBR image will not open on the flash dump tool.

Zeropaired images are setup in a way that they boot straight into the patch0 version and are compatible with any CPU without need for CPU key.
That's why XBR images boot on any box of the kind it's made for as long you supply it the right keyvault.

It's extremely important that you don't tamper with the zeropair string or else the XBOX will not power on.

Oh and for the other guys having trouble. These won't boot without the diodes...
If you get "Chistmas lights" you flashed your keyvault wrong.
If you get E71 your config block might be flashed wrong as well or you have an naughty bad block that need to be remapped.
If you got E79 it's because the XBOX tried to boot the 4532 kernel but the files on the flash FS aren't matching (I.E.: The JTAG commands from the SMC didn't reach the GPU)
 for E79, check the diodes or resistors for Xenon

I get 1 red light and error 1033: (I have version Xbox360Falcon the dashboard 7371 are proceeding according to the instructions in the first post any idea ? Thanks!
