Hello i have a falcon with a cygnos v2 chip in it. a long time everything works very well.
today i flashed a new image on it. when i boot the console i get one red + e79 if cygnos is off and three lights + nothing on screen if cygnos is on.

flashing back to the last working freeboot images, same problem.
flashing to 7371 same problem, but when i remove the power cable from the xbox and plug it back again it works (tried several times). when i want to boot from cygnos i get the same problem.

maybe i have damaged the flex cable, cause i had problems to plug the usb cable in. blue led, read and write flash still works.

does anyone have an idea what the problem could be?

Did you update your cygnos FW to 1.02? Did you extract the SMC from your original dump and patch it with cygnos toolbox, then build a new XeLL image?

These topics and issues shouldn't really be covered here, go ask on their official forums.

The new one will work just fine if you patched and updated the SMC correctly. Make a thread on their forums.

ive made a thread in their forums. may you are right that the new one just works with correct patched smc. i patched the smc but i dont know if freeboot handled it right.

in cygnos boards they dont support freeboot related stuff so ive to ask here.

by the way i found the old firmware and everything is fine now.
