Hi,

I tried to flash my drive today. But by a mistake ive put the power cord upside down on the drive. Its not working now. I opened my drive and r207 is black now..it was not before.
How can i fix my drive?
I took yesterday a photo of my drive and now i can see whats different after i did the power upside down..the only different is the r207 its black now there is no dot on it..
Can u please take a look at these photos and tell me what i can do to fix this problem?

you may have gotten very lucky and only need to replace that fried 0 ohm resistor. but chances are more was damaged.

What do you mean? What about to solder tomorrow the 2 holes under the r207?

That solder connection replaces the resistor. if it still doesn't work, then another component got destroyed, possibly even the controller chip.

Thats bad...well i will try tomorrow the other holes. Look i live in the north of iraq(Kurdistan Region). We dont have here xbox specialist so i cant send it to anyone...thats why i want to try it by my self....
