hi

i want to know if there is a certen way to burn 360 backup on dvd-r dl Huh

i know +r dl is the best choise for 360 backup but its  expinsive and rare here not like -r dl which is good price and easy to found

anyway i searched over this and found out that i cant set the break point on the  -r dl and i have to use certen imgbnurn ver which had a setting for the -r dl media called (layer jumping)

i ve tried it on 5 discs 4 disck didnt work on my lite on 360 and give me this msg(disc unreadble clean the disc>>>>>>)
then i changed the write mode from dao to the other choise (dont remember it)
the last one worked perfctly just like my +r dl then

i got excited and bought another 10 and try again with same setting with no sucess !!!

so you bought 10 more -DL discs but no success.. ,what happened do you get error while burning or will they not boot..?

and to answer your question you can't just rebuild the iso to change layerbreak cause then ixtreme firmware will not recognize it as a game disc..security sector and all kind of other $#!t needs to be in that specific layer break position.
so no you can not change that.. but if you did get an working game on a -R DL dual layer disc then more should be possible......its probable that you bought the same disc but perhaps they are from a different manufacturer that can mess things up as well.

even if the disc is the same brand and same label its very much possible that its a different manufacturer.. look what Imgburn provides for details on the working DL disc and the Non working ones.. Imgburn displays the manufacturer information. go look upon that and post it here.
