hmm, I did not copy the content of old secdata.bin. instead, I changed the block offset of the secdata.bin in the new one to point the the previous good one. This is because I need to change the timestamp anyway and by doing this, I only need to re-calculate the ECC of the only page in the filesystem table. so basically three changes in one page: block offset, timestame, and ecc. that is all.

I did that but didn't change the timestamp.
So basically you edit the newest filesystem table to point to the good secdata, and also change the timestamp with the timestamp of the previous version, then you recalculate the ecc?

I'll try it.

I did it your way and it worked.

Thanks

Are You sure that one with date 2004 is good ? (In my NAND I found one secdata with date 2004 and it was damaged then I decided to omit that records)
The dump is ok, i been searching and decrypting all secdatas (filetables & files) to "translate" the timestamps
All secdata timestamps are from the same day 2005/11/22 12:00:xx (with differences of a few seconds)
I never set the date & time of the console and i use to disconnect it from power Cheesy
I have seen more timestamps of other guys created the same day like me (with differences of a few seconds compared with mines)

DOS timestamp = 33 76 60 00
FILETIME timestamp = 01 C5 EF 5C 43 98 20 00
Human timestamp = 2005/11/22 12:00:00

This is the "default" timestamp if im not wrong (is easy to check it if you have a 360 disconnected from the power outlet, but i have noone here now)

Thank's for explanation. I have made those checkings for better security, but You are right it's not always needed.
For this reason I added new parameters to application (v0.12) which allows to ommit those checkings.

When it ommits those checkings it generates paching files (secdata.bin file and patchfiletable file) for each valid secdata.bin found in NAND.

The "Use:" part of application output shows how to apply recommended files, but each of them could be applied.

I tried this on 2 separate reads.  It crashes everytime, even with using latest findsecdata.  any thoughts?

Also, it's odd that the Timestamp is 2009-10-27 because my console was banned on 2009-11-10.  However, I think 2009-10-27 was the last time I signed into XBox Live before 2009-11-10, I was offline for a couple weeks.

Really strange about infos returned. Could You put NAND copy somewhere I will diagnose the problem ?
Did You checked that file with flash tool for bad blocks ?

Don't care about the dates returned, it's information only.

@boby2pc I sent you a message with the link to my nand file, and I'm not really sure how to use 360 Flash Tool.  Not sure what I'm supposed to put in for the keys, when i try to open any nand.bin in it, says it can't read file.  Even the one I did yesterday that worked fine with findsecdata.

I take that back, without any keys selected, it opens the nand.bin from my other system.

I'm going to make sure none of the wires/solder is touching, I think that may have been the problem.  Surprised it would read fine with nandpro if that were the case though...

The tool is probably failling because secdata has been updated several times since the ban occured. Looking at the log, the right unbanned secdata is correctly selected anyway.

Code:
nanpro lpt: -e 0xE4 1
if not ok
Code:
nanpro lpt: -e 0xE2 1
if still not ok
Code:
nandpro lpt: -e 0xE0 1
if you're still having bad luck try
Code:
nandpro lpt: -e 0xDE 1
and i believe that only
Code:
nandpro lpt: -e 0xDC 1
will fix it.

Why ? Because it's the last one with a good timestamp. You unplugged your console several times since the ban
You started your console 4 times without the dvd drive since the ban (hence the 4 secdata after the banned one)
So you'll have to erase the last 5 times your secdata has been updated.

That's why you'll probably need to type the 5 lines I suggested you. It worth a try since you've got a full backup, so you can revert every change safely.

Edit: looking closely at your log, I can see you upgraded to 2.0.8507 on 23/08 then upgraded to 2.0.8955 on 21/09 then banned on 13/11. Then you unplugged your console and started it 4 times without dvd drive.

2nd edit : you can go with nandpro lpt: -e 0xDC 0xA, which will be the same as the 5 individual commands

3rd edit : This won't work if you've started your console without dvd drive since your full dump. If so, restore your full dump first.

So change 3F was correct. "recommendation" algo is not perfect because of secdata.bin is crypted and no possibility to select good one.

Sending:
nandpro.exe lpt: -W16 secdata00DA.bin 0E3 1
nandpro.exe lpt: -w16 Patchedfiletable00E4By00DA.bin 0E4 1

should do the same and all updates mentioned by Corpo woudn't be deleted.
(previous restore of deleted records needed)

Thanks Corpo for support and alexandre229 for testing

Are you shure ?

I think you have an error:

nandpro.exe lpt: -W16 secdata01D2.bin 0E3 1
nandpro.exe lpt: -w16 Patchedfiletable00E4By00DA.bin 0E4 1

Because if i write a file table to a secdata, i don't think is working good...

What do you think ?

That file is dumped perfectly by You. There was different ECC format which I didn't know before (propobly different ECC controler).

I created new version of application to support those formats.

Downloaded new FindSecDatav0.3 and it seems to have worked perfectly!  Gonna hook up console and see if it works like its supposed to.

Edit:  Worked great!! Thanks again boby2pc
